Object: processes of ensuring the development of industrial enterprises. Objective: theoretical substantiation and development of scientific and methodological approaches to improving the management of the effectiveness of an industrial enterprise development for a strategic perspective. Methods: theoretical generalization, logic, detailing and synthesis; system approach; grouping, logical generalization; methods of economic-statistical analysis; factor analysis; system-target. For the first time it was proposed: options regarding the industrial enterprise ability to ensure the effectiveness of strategic perspective development based on a three-component indicator; were evaluated. The following was improved: the approach to assessing the effectiveness of industrial enterprises development in the strategic perspective; scientific and methodical approach to the management of the industrial enterprise development in the strategic perspective; conceptual approach to the management of the industrial enterprise development; the process of implementing the functions of managing the efficiency of industrial enterprise development in a strategic perspective. The following was developed: the definition of the economic essence of the concept of enterprise "efficiency" in the current unstable operating conditions; the assessment of macroeconomic conditions in the process of managing the efficiency of industrial enterprises.
