The dissertation is devoted to the development of a comprehensive theoretical approach to understanding the concept and features of the protection of land rights of individuals and legal entities, including the features of judicial protection of these rights by invalidating the decisions of public authorities, conducting a system analysis of this method of protecting rights, formulating scientific conclusions and recommendations for improving the current regulatory and legal framework in this area of public relations. The work investigates the genesis of legislation on invalidating the decisions of public authorities as a way to protect violated, unrecognized or disputed land rights of individuals. The legislative provision of protection of land rights in appealing decisions of public authorities has been clarified, ways of protecting rights to land have been described. Specific features of judicial protection of violated land rights are established. The specificity of invalidating decisions of public authorities as a way of protecting land rights is investigated. The concept is defined and the characteristic of decisions of public authorities in the mechanism of legal regulation of land relations is given. Analyzed legal relations on the recognition of invalid decisions of public authorities. The essence of invalidation of decisions of subjects of power is established. Legal consequences of invalidating decisions of subjects of power in the sphere of land relations are clarified.
