Essay

The paper is about solving problem of effectiveness and quality of information technology activity, including design of software and hardware. It is proposed composition-gist approach, which allows to support modelling of IT-processes, including design of both software and hardware projects. Given approach is pragmatically-conditioned specialization of the substance-gist approach, which is used in descriptive environments. The main role in substance-gist relation is played by the composition, it is the main modelling tool in proposed approach, and this is verified by pragmatically-conditioned and proved specialization of the Tarsky theorem. Profound research of composition concept conducted and test implementation of adaptive processional environment developed. It is able to produce both software and hardware project specifications.
