Sydorov O. Ensuring the economic security of the national economy on the basis of intellectual potential

The work is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodological approaches and the substantiation of practical recommendations on ensuring the economic security of the national economy on the basis of intellectual potential. The conceptual-categorical apparatus for ensuring the economic security of the national economy is explored. A complex approach to understanding the essence of intellectual potential is proposed. The interrelation between the functions of intellectual potential and the functions of providing economic security is investigated. The approach to ensuring economic security on the basis of intellectual potential is developed, implementation of which allows diagnosing the state of the national economy, to identify threats to economic security by the intellectual potential and to develop measures for their neutralization. A methodical approach to the assessment of the economic security of the national economy was developed, with the use of which the main tendencies of changes in the level of economic security for 2009-2017 years were revealed. The estimation of intellectual potential by resource and functional-productive components is carried out. In order to provide economic security on the basis of intellectual potential, threats to economic security in the field of the formation and use of intellectual potential are identified. The mechanism of providing economic security on the basis of intellectual potential is developed, which will allow choosing the directions of ensuring economic security necessary for achieving the planned rate of economic growth.
