Pursuant to the thesis research, the author describes the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine as an anti-corruption subject which performs a number of functions, such as: detecting corruption criminal offenses; pre-trial investigation and criminal prosecution; carrying out financial control over state expenditures; providing open access to state administration bodies; preventing conflicts of interests among state officials and cooperating with the public.
