Petrovskyi O. Legal support of monitoring of passport data in the system of a single information space of law enforcement bodies

In this paper a study was conducted on the legal provision of monitoring of passport data in the system of a single information space of law enforcement authorities. The conceptual model of creation and functioning of a single information space of law enforcement bodies is outlined. The issues of normative-legal support of functioning of law-enforcement bodies in the system of the uniform information space of law-enforcement bodies are revealed. A comparative legal analysis of the application of information technologies in law enforcement activities of the European Union member states and Ukraine is carried out. It is proposed to improve the activity of law enforcement bodies in order to monitor passport data. The obstacles, which at the present time do not allow to use informational-analytical system of monitoring of passport data and suggested ways of their solution, are analyzed.
