Essay

It has been established that three times administration of LD33 copper sulfate and carbon tetrachloride in LD33 with an interval of 48 hours is accompanied by the development of liver damage, which takes place against the backdrop of oxidative stress, which includes the intensification of lipid peroxidation, a decrease in the activity of a number of glutathione and NADP - dependent antioxidant enzymes. For young and old animals, the same changes in the prooxidant-antioxidant balance are recorded 24 hours after intoxication. Differences in metabolic reactions are detected during the period of the body's correction of pathological changes (as those occurring in the body in the normal course of 1 and 2 months after intoxication and with the application of protective agents). The transfer of animals with Cu-induced liver damage to cyclic feeding regimen after two cycles of cyclic feeding regimes normalizes most of the studied prooxidant-antioxidant potential in older animals, and induces a shift in the balance of the antioxidant potential in young ones. It was established that the complex "Fungidol" is able to reduce the intensification of lipid peroxidation and inhibition of the activity of the antioxidant enzymes studied in case of intoxication with copper sulfate. It was investigated that a complex of low molecular weight substances from cow colostrum is capable of correction of pathological changes of prooxidant-antioxidant balance in mitochondria and cytosol of liver cells in both 3 and 20-month rats.
