Essay

The dissertation is concerned with the development of scientific basis for the technology to obtain amorphous silicon(IV) oxide of high purity from the rice husk. This paper presents the combined processes including physicochemical and thermal processing for obtaining different purity levels of amorphous silicon(IV) oxide. The hypothesis concerning the process mechanism was suggested and the equations describing lignin and cellulose extraction from the rice husk were obtained. The regularities of the process based on the hypothesis of the obtaining different purity levels of amorphous silicon(IV) oxide by the method of thermal and physicochemical processing in the aerial environment were experimentally determined. The compositions of the extragents were selected and the main technological characteristics of processes were established. The disperse composition was studied and the physicochemical characteristics of the amorphous silicon(IV) oxide powder obtained from the starting raw material during the three-stage processing were established. The process flow chart of the obtaining amorphous silicon(IV) oxide from the rice husk was developed.
