Matiash L. Features of the combined course of gastroesophageal reflux disease and irritable bowel syndrome depending on intestinal microbiome

The dissertation is devoted to the actual task of gastroenterology – optimization of diagnosis and treatment of patients with a combination of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) based on the study of clinical manifestations and disorders of the intestinal microbiome. In the course of the work, the clinical features of patients with a combined course of GERD and IBS were analyzed, the syndrome of excessive bacterial growth in the small intestine in the groups of patients was investigated, as well as the relationship between the symptoms of GERD, IBS and their combined course with the features of qualitative and quantitative changes in the microbiome. The study also compared the methods of diagnosis of changes in the intestinal microbial, as well as the choice and evaluation of optimal treatment of patients with a combination of GERD and IBS.
