Tymofeeva N. Use of special knowledge in the investigation of crimes against the safety of production

The dissertation is devoted to the research of problems of use of special knowledge in the investigation of crimes against production safety. The genesis of scientific knowledge on the use of special knowledge in the investigation of crimes related to violation of safety rules at work in different historical periods has been analyzed. The theoretical principles of the concept and forms of use of special knowledge are determined and their features are revealed for investigating crimes against production safety. From forensic positions, the concepts and types of special technical knowledge used in relevant criminal proceedings are described. Recommendations on the use of special knowledge in the conduct of individual investigative (search) actions, which are the most widespread in the practice of investigating crimes provided by Art. 271-275 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The peculiarities of carrying out of expert examinations are revealed, the subject, objects and a list of questions for conducting of expert-examination taking into account the specificity of crimes against production safety are specified.
