The dissertation is devoted to solving the actual scientific and practical task of developing methodological support and practical recommendations for management of intellectual capital development of enterprises. The definitions of the «intellectual capital» and «intellectual potential» are defined. Intellectual capital is understood as the intellectual resource of an enterprise (knowledge, experience, opportunities) that interacts with the organizational component and the market environment and, if used effectively, is converted into value added, ensuring competitiveness. The classification of types of intellectual capital is presented. The parametric structure of intellectual capital that includes human capital, organizational capital and capital of interaction is presented. Human capital is a synergistic set of knowledge, practical skills and creativity of employees and processes for transforming them into resource advantages. Organizational capital is the systematic competence of the enterprise, organizational capacity for product creation and value. Capital of interaction is a set of partnerships, client and social capital. The content and the phases of the process of formation and development of intellectual capital of the enterprise are offered. Resource and information support for the formation and development of intellectual capital, which involves the formation of human, organizational capital and capital of interaction, and the procedure for diagnosing the formation and development of intellectual capital is developed. The process of diagnosing the formation and development of intellectual capital is provided. A complex model of intellectual capital assessment is proposed that includes two blocks: an estimation of the level of formation and development of intellectual capital and its cost estimation. It is proposed to assess the level of formation and development of intellectual capital on the basis of indicators of intellectual potential assessment on the proposed components: human resources and capabilities, organizational resources and opportunities, marketing resources of interaction and the effectiveness of intellectual potential using. On the basis of the proposed assessment scale, the qualitative level of intellectual capital of the investigated enterprises is presented. In order to obtain a value estimation of intellectual capital, the existing approaches to its calculation are generalized and carried out at the enterprises. There is a close relationship between the level of formation and development and the value of intellectual capital. The relationship between the value of the investigated enterprises and the value of intellectual capital is proved. The modeling of the influence of organizational and economic factors on the level of formation and development of intellectual capital of the enterprise through the method of neural networks is carried out. The definition of managing intellectual capital is given. The model of intellectual capital management of an enterprise, the purpose of which is to substantiate the proper strategy, which acts as an algorithm and includes a sequence of blocks is proposed. The types of strategies of intellectual capital development of the enterprise are offered. The principles of choosing the type of strategies for the investigated enterprises are given. For enterprises in which the level of formation of intellectual capital is optimal, it is advisable to choose a strategy for the integrated interaction of the components of intellectual capital. For enterprises with a sufficient level of formation of intellectual capital, there is a strategy of pair interaction of components of intellectual capital. Enterprises that have a critical level of intellectual capital formation should apply a strategy for the development of individual components of intellectual capital.
