Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of clinical and instrumental characteristics of chronic forms of Lyme disease in order to improve diagnostics and treatment tactics. There are 112 people were involved in the study. The diagnosis of Lyme disease in the patients was verify by ELISA and Blot analysis. During of the study, the polymorphism of the damage to the nervous system in patients with chronic form of Lyme disease was detected and researched. In the structure of polymorphism, the damage of the central nervous system was prevailed, also the frequency of damage of other organs and systems studied. Complex study of the characteristics of laboratory-instrumental indicators had done: serological parameters of blood, liquor, immune status, MRI of the brain and spinal cord, bioelectric activity of the brain and cognitive disorders. For the diagnosis of cognitive disorders, the method of cognitive induced P300 potentials has been used for the first time in Ukraine and the expediency of its application is showed. During of the study, complex etiopathogenic therapy for the treatment of chronic Lyme disease with prevailing damage of the nervous system is improved and her effectiveness is showed. In practical medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic forms Lyme disease with prevailing damage of the nervous system, the results can be used.
