Essay

The thesis is devoted to the complex study of the peculiarities of burozems process in the mountain-meadow zone of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Different materials, containing information on the study of mountainous meadowy brown soils of the Ukrainian Carpathians has been analyzed. Factors of soil formation, which determine the geography and properties of the studied soils, has been characterized. The basic processes determining the formation and development of the genetic profile of the mountainous meadowy brown soils have been determined. and the patterns of their spatial distribution are revealed within the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians. Macro-morphological peculiarities of formation and structure of the genetic profile of the mountainous meadowy brown soils are investigated. Processes and signs of nomadic transformation of soils due to the human activities on the mountain valleys were established. The expediency of the inclusion of anthropogenically altered soils, as the objects of the soil-protected infrastructure is substantiated.
