Essay

Object of research: Obtaining new polymer matrices based on B-cyclodextrin and its derivatives. The aim of the work is to synthesize and study the properties of B-cyclodextrin-containing polymer matrices as carriers of biologically active compounds and to demonstrate their ability for desorption (release) these compounds in time and in different environments. Methods of FT-IR-spectroscopy, 1H NMR-spectroscopy, UV-spectroscopy, X-ray, pyrolytic mass-spectrometry, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis and potentiometric titration were used to identify B-cyclodextrin derivatives and polymer matrices. The scientific novelty of the results obtained is to improve the regulation of the release rate and time of drugs incorporated into the polymer matrices. Development of polymer matrices based on cyclodextrins has prospects for their use in pharmacology as carriers of biologically active compounds with prolonged action.
