The terminological apparatus of the subject area is clarified: "risk", "threat", "danger", "economic security","economic security of entrepreneurial activity". The essence and features of entrepreneurial activity in the context of European integration processes are determined. Major directions of productive and destructive economic impact of European integration processes on the development of entrepreneurial activity are determined. The state and prospects for further development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine are analyzed. The classification of risk management methods in entrepreneurial activity is improved. The tools for monitoring entrepreneurial activity in the context of the development of European integration processes are improved. The criteria and indicators of economic security of entrepreneurial activity in the context of development of European integration processes are determined. The approach to optimizing the structure of the basic elements of economic security system of entrepreneurial activity is improved. An approach is formed to ensure the economic security of entrepreneurial activity based on preventive measures. The feasibility of implementing preventive management in ensuring economic security of entrepreneurial activity is justified. An objective need to introduce early risk warning system and appropriate response to the existing threats at the enterprise is determined.
