The dissertation is devoted to the complex investigation of peculiarities of the investigation of crimes in the sphere of professional activity related to the provision of public services. The state of scientific development and responsibility for crimes in the sphere of professional activities related to the provision of public services are examined. Criminological characteristic of these crimes is determined. The circumstances that are to be proven during the investigation of crimes in the sphere of professional activities related to the provision of public services, as well as the investigation situations that are formed during the investigation of these crimes are described. The peculiarities of conducting investigation (search) actions, secret investigative (search) actions and involvement of a specialist during the investigation of crimes in the sphere of professional activities related to the provision of public services are given. Practical recommendations for improving the procedure for investigating crimes in the sphere of professional activities related to the provision of public services are formulated.
