Author characterized the evolution of legal regulation of notaries’ activity in state registration area, outlined the legal background of notaries’ activity in state registration area and identified the relevant place for administrative norms. Systematization is arranged for principles of administrative-legal regulation of notaries’ activity in state registration area. Forms and methods of administrative-legal regulation of notaries’ activity in state registration area are provided. Tasks and functions of administrative-legal regulation of notaries’ activity in state registration area are revealed. Types and peculiarities of notaries’ liability for state registration legislative acts violations are presented. Foreign practices of administrative-legal regulation of notaries’ activity in state registration area are generalized along with proposals on its implementation in Ukraine. Ways of improving the state control and monitoring of notaries’ activity in state registration area are elaborated. Set of amendments to applicable legislation regulating notaries’ activity in state registration area is offered.
