In the dissertation on the basis of the analysis of the problematic issues connected with investigation of the crimes committed by convicts in corrective labor colonies of Ukraine, the current legislation of Ukraine, his historical sources of international legal atoms and criminal procedural practice a number of evidence-based actions for improvement of a legal mechanism of pre-judicial investigation in places of detention is developed.
