Tsarenko I. The mechanism of state regulation of the competitiveness of higher education of Ukraine

The object of research is the process of state regulation of the competitiveness of higher education in Ukraine. The dissertation is devoted to the deepening of theoretical bases and development of scientific and practical recommendations of improvement the mechanism of state regulation of the competitiveness of higher education of Ukraine. The theoretical positions concerning the definition of the essence of the concept of "competitiveness of higher education" are investigated. The current state and effectiveness of state regulation of the competitiveness of higher education in the context of international comparisons and the national dimension is analyzed, the comparative analysis of the competitiveness of higher education of Ukraine is carried out in the territorial context. The methodological approaches to the determining the strategic priorities of state regulation of the competitiveness of higher education are substantiated, which are focused on the forming the model of the innovative economy of post-industrial type. The conceptual bases of improvement the mechanism of state regulation of the competitiveness of higher education of Ukraine have been developed. The methodical approaches to the improvement the complex of stimulating measures with the introduction the modern quality management models by the institutions of higher education as a tool of the increasing the competitiveness of higher education are proposed. The results of the dissertation research were adopted by the Institute of Industrial Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Office of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of the Kirovohrad Oblast State Administration and its subordinated state institutions, the Central Ukrainian National Technical University and the Uzhgorod National University.
