Kashchyshyn V. Economic evaluation and justification of engineering projects of machine-building enterprises

The object of the research is processes of economic appraisal of efficiency and substantiation of expediency of realization of engineering projects at machine-building enterprises. The research aims to develop the development of theoretical provisions and the provision of methodological and applied recommendations for the improvement of approaches to economic evaluation and substantiation of engineering projects of machine-building enterprises. The author used such methods as: methods of morphological analysis, generalization, economic-mathematical modeling, systematic, statistical analysis, abstraction and logical generalization, optimization method and questionnaire. The theoretical value of the thesis refers to development of theoretical and methodological provisions on the improvement of economic appraisal and substantiation of engineering projects of machine-building enterprises. The practical significance of the results is the possibility of using managers and specialists of management personnel of all levels of machine-building enterprises methodical recommendations for improving the economic evaluation and substantiation of engineering projects of machine-building enterprises. Scientific novelty of the results: for the first time there is developed indicator of expected profitability of investments in the acquisition by the engineering firm of services of the engineering firm and a system of indicators for assessing the business activity of engineering companies, there are improved the provision for the development of a program of engineering works at machine-building enterprises, a method for evaluating economic efficiency, and justification of the feasibility of implementing certain types of engineering projects at a machine-building enterprise, a method for forming a portfolio of engineering projects at a machine-building enterprise, there are developed theoretical foundations of economic appraisal and substantiation of engineering projects at the enterprise, provisions on analyzing and diagnosing the current technical and organizational level of machine-building enterprises. The subject of research refers to the theoretical and methodological and practical principles of economic evaluation of efficiency and substantiation of expediency of realization of engineering projects. Author’s recommendations are used during improvement of economic appraisal and substantiation of engineering projects of machine-building enterprises. The sphere for the use of author’s recommendations is revered to the machine-building enterprises.
