The object of study - problems of design and operation of bases and foundations of low-rise buildings and structures. Purpose of the study - bases and foundations of low-rise buildings in the context of regional influence of natural and technogenic factors. Purpose - establishing features of the interaction of the foundations of low-rise buildings with the base in regional soil conditions. Methods: field surveys of low-rise buildings; instrumental observations of deformations of buildings and structures; laboratory methods for determining the physical and deformation properties of soils; numerical simulation of the stress-strain state of the "foundation-soil massif" system; comparing experimental data with numerical solutions. Novelty - the method of calculating the bases and foundations of low-rise buildings in conditions of dense urban development is improved in accordance with the developed map of zoning of the territory of cities; 5-10% of the physical and mechanical characteristics of soils under the foundations in the conditions of long-term exploitation are established; for the first time for the territory of Chernihiv city a study was carried out on factors influencing constructive and engineering-geological factors on the operational suitability of low-rise buildings in dense urban conditions.
