Essay

The objectives of the study were defined, and for achivement, were examined 198 persons 19-24 years old with different types of deforming dorsopathies (kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis, osteochondrosis), who were the main group, and 402 persons of this age category without concomitant pathology (control group). The high prevalence of periodontal diseases in young people with deforming dorsopathies, was found, compared with those without somatic pathology. The importance of local initial factors, vegetative-vascular disorders, general level of health and quality of life in the development of periodontal diseases in young people with deforming dorsopathies has been investigated. On the basis of statistical analysis of the indicators of clinical, laboratory and functional research, the prognostic significance of the risk factors for the development of periodontal diseases in young people with deforming dorsopathies is determined and developed a complex of prevention, which contributed to the achievement of high clinical results.
