Essay

In the dissertation work the actual task of modern dentistry is solved, which is to increase the effectiveness of prevention and treatment dento-jaw anomalies by studying the effect on them of the functional state of the maxillofacial area and interrelated disorders on the basis of clinical and morphological studies and the substantiation of early diagnostic methods in children in a temporary and variable bite. The structure of functional disorders in children 3-12 years old was determined and their negative influence on the development of the tooth-jaw system was determined and the symptom complex of changes from the organs of the dento-jaw system was established by means of anthropometric, functional and X-ray methods of examination in children with different forms of myofunctional disorders. It is proved that bite violation is accompanied by a violation of the static and dynamic characteristics of the posture, the functional state of the spine and the deterioration of cerebral hemodynamics. It is established that the nature and degree of severity of violations of the tooth-jaw system are interrelated with the violation of the locomotor apparatus, and the indicators of its functional state play an important role in early diagnosis and correction of bite. For the first time a theoretical substantiation of early myofunctional therapy is presented, which includes an individual approach to the selection of myofunctional correctors. The concept of providing orthodontic care in the period of temporary and occlusive bite in children with a complex of myofunctional disorders was developed and tested in the clinic
