The thesis is devoted to the generalization of the theoretical foundations and the development of practical recommendations for the formation and functioning of the organizational and economic mechanism for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises.
In the thesis, a scientifically-methodical approach to the formation and functioning of the organizational and economic mechanism for ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises as open socio-economic systems has been developed, which allows to improve the organizational structure of the enterprise’s economic security system, contributes to the allocation and efficient use of resource support and in the creation of safe conditions for the development of the enterprise.
A methodical approach to assessing the economic security of industrial enterprises has been developed, taking into account the specifics of economic activity and differences in ensuring the economic security of enterprises in the oil and gas, machine-building and food industries. A scientific and practical approach has been formed to predict the impact of threats on the economic security of industrial enterprises; it involves the development of realistic, pessimistic and optimistic forecasts of changes in the impact of key threats on the economic security of oil and gas, machine-building and food industries. A theoretical-methodical approach to the formation of a strategy to ensure the economic security of industrial enterprises is proposed, which allows to choose the most appropriate strategy to achieve the necessary level of economic security based on the available resource support and aggressiveness of the external environment of functioning.
The author has formed a theoretical basis for ensuring the economic security of an enterprise, suggests clarifying the essence of the basic concepts of «security» and «danger», «challenge», «risk» and «threat», «stability» and «firmness», «balance» and «adaptation», «flexibility», «reliability» and «viability» as key for the existence of each socio-economic system. Theoretical approaches have been developed to ensure the economic security of an enterprise, taking into account inter-level relations between the state, region, industry, enterprise, and a person as such, which create additional opportunities to achieve common security interests, as well as use models of the system, situational and adaptive management of the economic security of an enterprise. The methodological foundations of accounting and analytical support for the management of the economic security of industrial enterprises are substantiated; they allow timely identification and monitoring of the impact of key challenges, risks and threats, and satisfying the information needs of security subjects at all management levels for their decision making.
