The thesis has devoted to deepening of theoretical principles and developing practical recommendations for the strategic development of the enterprises on the principles of social responsibility. The economic meaning of the concept of «social responsibility of business» has been improved. The stages of social responsibility development and the defined principles and mechanism of social responsibility have been systematized. The analysis of the organizational and institutional environment for the functioning of the system of social responsibility of business and the diagnosis of the implementation of social responsibility has been carried out. The assessment of the level of internal social responsibility of enterprises has been accomplished. Strategic priorities for the development of components of the system of social responsibility of business for food industry enterprises have been substantiated. The methodological support of the assessment of the system of corporate social responsibility has been improved. The integrated-social model of enterprise development in the context of European integration has been developed.
