In the dissertation the new information about the ideological, political, military, economic, gender and confessional aspects of the insurgent movement of 1918 – early 1920s was revealed; mutual evaluations of regular and irregular armed forces have been found, the evolution of their interrelations has been observed; The informational potential of memorials of officers and officers of the Army of the Ukrainian people republic is disclosed, the perpetuates of their use for clarification and verification of the existing ones and the creation of new scientific knowledge on the history of the Ukrainian National Revolution are outlined.
