Yurshenko A. Formation and improvement of the economic sustainability of enterprises in flour mill industry

The dissertation is devoted to the research and substantiation of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of providing and improving the economic sustainability of flour mill enterprises. There are analyzed the scientific and methodical approaches to the essence of the concept «economic sustainability», the factors determining its level and its constituent elements are systematized. There are added existing methods of calculating a composite indicator –an indicator that provides an opportunity to monitor changes in intermediate and final results of activities, to establish and correct the goals of the enterprise. There are substantiated the peculiarities of functioning and tools of the mechanism of providing economic stability in the modern conditions. There is developed and substantiated the proposal to solve the problem of constructing the economic sustainability index by the method of multidimensional analysis of aggregate indicators based on the method of normalized diagrams, which allows to increase the reliability and validity of the assessment with the purpose of developing and correcting strategic plans. There is developed the block diagram of the estimation of economic sustainability level on the basis of the assessment scale, which allows to diagnose the state of the enterprise and plan measures for its optimization. The necessity and relevance of the structural-logical subsystem in the system of general management, which will develop strategies to support and enhance economic sustainability, is proved. Based on multi-factor regression models and estimation of the significance of their parameters, the factors that have the greatest impact on economic sustainability are revealed. The directions to improve the organizational and managerial provision of economic sustainability are determined.
