The dissertation proposes a new solution to the scientific problem - improvement of existing and development of new theoretical and methodological and applied provisions on economic evaluation and ensuring competitive advantages of enterprises on the basis of theoretical generalization of modern economic concepts of management, system theory and information, as well as practices of their use in the enterprise management system. As a result of the completed study, the essence of the concept of "competitive advantage" and the classification of competitive advantages of enterprises; the model of identification of competitive advantages of the enterprise is developed; improved method of evaluation and analysis of competitive advantages; The methodical approach to the formation and maintenance of competitive advantages of the enterprise is specified; developed methodological provisions on monitoring and regulation of competitive advantages of the enterprise. The practical value of the research results is to develop methodological tools for economic appraisal and to ensure the competitive advantages of enterprises.
