Essay

Object of the research: tissue differentiated thyroid carcinomas (papillary and follicular), and extra tumor thyroid tissue. Aim of the research: to investigate same biochemical mechanisms .lysosomal, mitochondrial and post-mitochondrial stages of apoptosis regulation and realization in papillary and follicular thyroid carcinomas. Methods of the investigation and equipment: biochemical (extraction cell fraction, extraction DNA, determination concentration: protein, DNA, nitrogen oxide, enzymes activity, mitochondria swelling, trans-membrane potential), mathematical and statistical; spectrophotometers UV/VIS “Jen-Way” and SF-46 “LOMO”. Theoretical and practical results: Studies have found out the apoptosis direction and intensity in differentiated thyroid carcinomas tissue depends on the tumor type, its development stage, its structure characters, biological characters of its aggression nature as well as on patients sex. These results are important for understanding the molecular biological processes underlying pathology of the thyroid gland, and can be included in system of the knowledge necessary to develop method of treatment. Novelty: widens the conception concerning the existence of damages for programmed cell death of differentiated thyroid carcinoma cells; the damages shown on different apoptosis stages are carcinogenesis components. The degree of implementation: the results of work were published in medical scientific journals. Areas of application: endocrinology, molecular biology.
