The theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the formation and implementation of organizational and economic tools for sustainable economic development of agricultural enterprises investigated. Improved conceptual and categorical apparatus in terms of clarifying the essence of economic categories "sustainability" and "sustainable development", "sustainable economic development of agricultural enterprises". The estimation of the impact of resource providing the stability of economic development of agricultural enterprises and to identify the factors that negatively affect it. Identified the main problems hindering the sustainability of economic development of agricultural enterprises. The methodical approach of formation of assortment policy of agricultural enterprises with regard to the weight of factors of influence has been improved.
