The actual scientific task of the development of the scientific and methodical apparatus for providing the property of the functional stability of the flight-navigation complex of an aircraft on the basis of the use of the decision support system at the stages of construction and operation in the conditions of external and internal destabilizing influences is solved in the work. The technique of ensuring the functional stability of the aerodrome navigation complex is improved, which differs from the existing use of the diagnostic system with the wandering diagnostic kernel and decision support system for the detection of extraordinary situations under the influence of external and internal destabilizing factors. According to the results of the simulation, based on the use of intelligent navigation and aeronautical complex, an increase in the parameters of functional stability has been achieved, which provides for the elimination of unusual situations and allows us to speak about increasing the reliability of decision making by the crew of an aircraft by 12 – 20 % due to the use of decision support system in the process of functioning during search for solutions in abnormal situations of failure and incorrectness in distributed knowledge bases.
