Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the theoretical and experimental research of the carriageway beams with storied conjunction in steel spans by Design Stalinstruction. In the work the general technical state of steel railway bridges of Ukraine is estimated, the reasons of steel bridges failures, major reasons of residual life decrease and bearing capacity reduction are analyzed for steel spans. The mechanism of crack creation during storied beams carriageway operation in steel spans is clarified. The dissertation was carried to solve the problem of reinforcement of steel carriageways with beams with storied conjunction, which allows to quickly increase the bearing capacity of structures, and to eliminate the main reason for its reduction. To accomplish this goal, experimental researches have been carried out, in which insufficient durability of steel railway bridges with a storied conjunction of beams of the carriageway was established, their stress-strain state has been investigated, excessive stresses have been confirmed in characteristic nodes. Relying on the results of experiments and theoretical studies, a new construction of the reinforcement of the conjunction point of the longitudinal beam to the transverse ones with storied conjunction is proposed (a patent for a utility model is obtained). The results of the dissertation are recommended for implementation in the renewal of the railway bridge across the Ingulets River at 109 km of the Kryviy Rih – Dolinskaya of Prydniprovska Railroad.
