Spytska L. Public service activity as a component of administrative activity of the subjects of public administration

The article clarifies the legal nature and essence of public service activities as a type of administrative activity of the subjects of public administration. The periodization of the development of normative and legal base of public service activities of the subjects of public administration was carried out and three main stages were identified. The administrative-legal regulation of public-service activity carried out by public authorities and local self-government bodies was explored. The administrative and legal regulation of the activity of the centers of rendering of administrative services (hereinafter referred to as the CRAS) was described. The disadvantages of normative regulation of their activities were accented, as well as the ways of their solution were proposed. The perspective directions of borrowing of foreign experience of public service activities by public administration bodies are determined
