The scientific work analyzes the legal nature, conceptual construct, legal framework for approximating Ukrainian legislation to the EU legislation on waste management. The particularities of legal framework on waste management were determined, which became the basis for formulating the proposals on further improvement of legislation in this area in the course of regulatory activity, considering the national and European experience of law enforcement and law-making activity in this area.
