The thesis contain further development of theoretical provisions and improved methodological support of the formation of strategic knowledge of the enterprise (on the example of machine-building enterprises).
Updated the contents and interrelation of the basic categories and concepts of the formation of a strategic enterprise knowledge, which constitute the research field in accordance with the place and role of strategic knowledge in the processes of management of enterprise development. As a result of the analysis of the conceptual basis of knowledge management and the theory of organizational knowledge systematized and selected types of strategic knowledge: corporate, organizational, collective and individual – as belonging to the groups of participants of corporate relations; formalized (explicit) and not formal (hidden) – the type of manifestation; knowledge that is displayed in the general sense, traditions, values, daily standards, rules, regulations – the characteristics of corporate culture; procedural, declarative, methodical, causal – and- by use in organizational processes newly created, purchased, brought – in purposes.
From the position of the resource, process, behavioral and institutional approaches defined the main provisions of the formation of strategic knowledge of the enterprise: key features and challenges in managing knowledge as a valuable strategic resource; the sequence of procedures and stages from finding and creating the necessary type of knowledge to be reused in business processes; the impact of institutional constraints and knowledge of groups of participants of corporate relations in strategic decision-making; motivating and training staff.
Developed organizational and information support of the formation of the strategic knowledge of the enterprise, which includes tasks, milestones, measures of codification and personalization of knowledge. Methodical approach to formation of strategic knowledge includes principles and strategic directions for acquiring, attracting and creating strategic knowledge that are integrated in the development processes of the enterprise.
The proposed methodical approach to assessing strategic knowledge of the enterprise, which is built on the allocation and estimation declarative (shown in the goals and objectives of development), procedural (provide the organization and management of business processes) and causal knowledge (depend on the motivation of staff training and development), the degree of their formation in the management processes at the corporate, functional and individual levels. The application of this methodological approach in the activities of engineering enterprises helped to identify problem areas in their formation, which served as the basis for the development of a set of measures for the development and training of enterprise management personnel.
