Stepanov A. Correlation of Prosecutor’s supervision, departmental and judicial control during the pre-trial investigation.

In the dissertation problems of correlation of prosecution supervision, departmental and judicial control during the pre-trial investigation are investigated in complex. The history of the formation and development of supervisory and control activity in the criminal process, international standards of its organization and implementation are considered. The essence and legal nature of the varieties and forms of control and supervision during the pre-trial investigation are revealed. The analysis of the connection between the legal regulation of prosecutorial supervision, departmental and judicial control and the effectiveness of the supervision and control activity in the mechanism for ensuring the solution of the tasks of the pre-trial investigation are analyzed. Based on the study of the current legal regulation, law enforcement practices, the doctrinal approaches available in the criminal process science, the proposals have been substantiated to improve the Ukrainian legislation in the part of regulating supervisory and control activity during the pre-trial investigation.
