Essay

The object of research is the processes of structure and phase formation of ceramic titanium ceramic coatings based on calcium-phosphate-silicate system, mechanism of their solubility in physiological fluids, and technological parameters for obtaining glass-ceramic coatings. The aim of the study is the development of glass-ceramic coatings on titanium alloys for dental endoprosthetics and the choice of technological parameters for their obtaining. Research methods - gamma-spectrometric, XRD-analysis, petrographic, polythermal, IR-spectroscopy, electron-microscopic analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis, electron probe microanalysis, spectrophotometric analysis. Physico-chemical and technological properties were determined in accordance with the requirements of the current regulations for silicate materials and coatings. The assessment of the biological effect of the materials was carried out in accordance with the existing requirements for medical products. Theoretical and practical results - composition and the optimum technological parameters to obtain bioactive glass-ceramic coatings on titanium based on calcium-phosphate silicate glass have been determined, which provide the formation of an oriented fine-crystalline structure under conditions of short-term low temperature thermal treatment due to directional crystallization by the mechanism of phase distribution. Novelty - obtaining of strengthened bioactive glass-ceramic coatings, under conditions of low-temperature short-term thermal treatment, on titanium based on calcium phosphate silicate glass is realized by forming an oriented fine-crystalline coating structure due to crystallization, along the spinodal mechanism of distribution, determined crystalline phases, which, along with the glass phase, provide the necessary characteristics of physical-chemical properties and the possibility of formation of apatite-like layer in vitro for 1 month, was proved theoretically and experimentally. Degree of implementation - the results of the thesis introduced in the educational process of the Department of technology of ceramics, refractories, glass and enamels NTU "KhPI". Scope of application - the developed glass-ceramic coating can be used to produce bioactive composite implants in dental industries and the introduction into medical practice in public and private hospitals.
