Essay

The dissertation is devoted to questions of the combined course of arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2, taking into account the damage of the kidneys. According to the results of the research with 120 patients, the relationships were established between blood pressure level, disorders of lipid and glucose metabolism, hyperuricemia, subclinical inflammation, activation of fibrotic processes with impaired functional state of the kidneys, with increased albuminuria, urinary albumin/creatinine ratio, level of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin in urine and decrease in glomerular filtration rate. There was scientific substantiation of the importance of the inclusion of a drug from inhibitors of sodium-glucose linked transporter 2 dapagliflozin and the anti-hypertensive drug telmisartan in the complex treatment of patients with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus type 2, taking into account the functions of the kidneys and the presence of subclinical hyperuricemia.
