In the dissertation the theoretical and methodological bases of management of eco-logical and economic security of forest enterprises are developed, the essence and certain factors of ecological and economic security are determined, the essence and components of the management of ecological and economic security of the forestry enterprise are sub-stantiated, scientific approaches are generalized and methodological aspects of the re-search of ecological and economic security of forest enterprises are improved. The methodology for assessing the level and potential of ecological and economic security of forest enterprises is developed. The general characteristics of the forest fund and activities of forestry enterprises are given, the analysis of the factors of providing eco-logical and economic security of the enterprises of the forestry sector of the Polissya area and assessing the level of ecological and economic security of forest enterprises are car-ried out. The mechanism of ensuring ecological and economic security of forest enterprises, the potential of ecological and economic security of enterprises in the forestry sector and forecasting of its change in the long-term perspective are evaluated. The strategies for en-suring ecological and economic security of forest enterprises have been substantiated.
