Essay

The author of the dissertation has carried out the comprehensive research of legal principles of the institution of temporary access to items and documents within criminal proceedings. It has been argued that temporary access to items and documents were transformed from seizure, formalized in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine in 1960. Three main stages of formation and development of temporary access to items and documents have been indicated on the basis of conducted historical and legal analysis.
