Romaniuk N. Improving the effectiveness of intermediary structures in agriculture

The scientific and theoretical bases of improving the effectiveness of intermediary structures’ activities in agriculture are highlighted in the thesis. The implementation of functions of intermediary activities i.e. marketing, logistics and sales in the agricultural market of Ukraine and Ivano-Frankivsk region is analyzed by the intermediaries and en-terprises producing agricultural products. The essence of the concepts of "intermediary structures in agriculture" and "intermediary activities of agricultural enterprises" is re-vealed. The interrelation of the intermediary system and the process of establishing the export of agricultural products by enterprises are substantiated. Proposals on the stages of market research of the agricultural market are formulated. The allocation of the distribution channels of agricultural products in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and the variation of prices for these channels are analyzed. An algorithm for determining the effectiveness of intermediary activity is worked out. It distinguishes the main directions and features of determining the effectiveness of intermediary activities under the influence of internal and external agroenvironment. An algorithm for calculating the effectiveness of intermediary system is proposed. It can be used both by intermediary structures of agriculture and agricultural enterprises in order to make decisions on the ways of implementing functions of marketing, logistics and sales. A model for improving the efficiency of intermediary activities is developed.
