Boiko A. Legal regulation of youth employment

The thesis defines the concept of youth as a special subject of employment, the unity and differentiation of norms of labor law as the basic basis of legal regulation of employment of youth, modern directions of the state youth policy of Ukraine. The essence of professional orientation of youth is determined. The thesis describes the current state of legal regulation of professional orientation of young people, vocational training and internship as means of increasing the competitiveness of youth, which promote its employment, providing young people with the first workplace as a legal guarantee of realization of the right to work. It’s argued that the legal regulation of youth employment takes place on the basis of unity and differentiation of labor law standards. The differentiation used in this case is subject to age. The purpose of the differentiation, which is the basis for youth employment, is to assist in determining the scope of their professional direction and to ensure the possibility of getting a job for a certain period, defined by the necessary practice for gaining experience and professional self-confidence in their forces.
