Essay

The dissertation is devoted to complex photophysical, electrochemical and electrophysical research on heterostuctures of the newly synthesized organic semiconductors, their application in developing and fabrication of the efficient organic light emitting diodes (OLED). The goal of the work is to provide results of the theoretical and experimental investigation for an improvement of the understanding of physical processes accrued in devices which will help to choose the way of searching and designing required materials with appropriate properties and optimize OLED’s quality and efficiency. The research algorithms of necessary experiments for detecting the phenomenon of thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) in different samples was developed and used by the author. Many efficient OLED, phoshorescent PhOLED, white-emitting WOLED devices based on investigated TADF-emitters, blue emitters, fluorescent dopants, hosts, single material electroplex-forming host, electron blocking derivatives were fabricated and characterized.
