Boichuk-Tovsta O. Clinical and laboratory evaluation of the clinical course, treatment and prevention of generalized periodontitis of the primary - I degree in pregnant women against the background of iron deficiency anemia of the lung-moderate degree

The dissertation is devoted to the research of clinical and laboratory characteristics of the course, treatment and prevention of generalized periodontitis of primary-I degree in pregnant women against a background of iron deficiency anemia of light-medium degree. It was found out that with iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women, periodontal indexes levels are significantly higher and bone metabolism markers change their activity levels. Reduction of alkaline phosphatase and increased acid phosphatase in biological fluids of pregnant women, mineral metabolism disturbances, iron/copper biomaterials deficiency and plasma proteins which transport these trace elements, were also discovered. The following prevention and treatment scheme, which has been confirmed by positive dynamics of clinical and biochemical indicators, allows to recommend this improved medical and prophylactic complex to be used in practical dentistry.
