Drabyk O. State regulation of pensions in the context of social protection of the rural population.

The dissertation is devoted to the generalization and development of theoretical, legal, scientific, methodological positions and practical recommendations for the improvement of state regulation of pension provision in the context of social protection of the rural population. The essence of the pension system, pension, pension provision is theoretically substantiated, their structure, functions, generalized scientific approaches and their own interpretation of the concept "pension system" are proposed. The main methods of state regulation, legal foundations of the pension system of Ukraine and factors influencing it are outlined. In order to strengthen social protection of citizens, the principles of implementation of the reform process are defined and an algorithm for constructing a three-tiered model of the pension system of Ukraine is elaborated, the mechanisms of state regulation of pension provision based on the balance of interests of the state, insured persons, policyholders and recipients of pensions are grounded.
