Tarnavskyi O. Conceptual foundations and discourse of the Euroscepticism in contemporary political theory and practice

The complex study of the phenomenon of Euroscepticism as the newest concept in the contemporary political theory and practice was carried out in the dissertation. The process was considered and the stages of the scientific conceptualization of Euroscepticism were distinguished. It was generalized that the reason for the emergence of Euroscepticism was, first of all, nationalistic political views of Eurosceptics. The ideologists of contemporary Euroscepticism were revealed. The author offered a typology of Euroscepticism, within which moderate and radical types were singled out. The stages of evolution of Euroscepticism from the "anti-marketing" to the influential political idea were identified and analyzed. The manifestations of Euroscepticism in the political space of Ukraine since the beginning of independence till 2018 were analyzed.
