Komarytsia O. The justification of effectiveness of the use of composition based on hydrogel adhesive-active polymer in the preprosthetic preparation of patients for orthopedic treatment.

In the clinical part of the study 105 patients aged 55 to 90 years, who needed tooth extraction with pre-prosthetic preparation, followed by orthopedic rehabilitation with temporary removable dentures were involved. The results of conducted studies allowed us to trace the pharmacokinetics of processes of sorption – desorption of chlorhexidine bigluconate from hydrogel adhesive active polymer in the laboratory and clinic. On the basis of conducted laboratory-technical studies, individual laboratory and technical modeling of dental composition based on hydrogel of adhesive active polymer, both of independent construction and in combination with acrylic basis of removable temporary denture has been processed and improved, which will contribute to the increase of their effectiveness in dental practice. Comparing the clinical parameters of the inflammatory process and the dynamics of wound healing, a positive dynamics was observed, but in patients who used a modified temporary denture a reduction of the terms of healing was established on 3-4 days.
