In order to study the prevalence, intensity and peculiarities of the clinical course of periodontal diseases in poultry workers, we examined 352 workers of the Poultry Farm.The age of the examinees was 20-55 years. Experience in a poultry farm work is from 1 to 15 years.Тhe increase in the frequency of periodontal disease with the experience correlated with the increase in the intensity of the pathological process in parodonti.Dlya clinical course of diseases of periodontal disease in the poultry workers were characterized by: increased bleeding gums; the predominance of the diffuse nature of gingivitis; the prevalence of generalized periodontitis II-III degree with severe clinical course and abundant serous and purulent secretions.Our studies may indicate that the microbial aerosol in the air of the working areas of the poultry factory becomes a source of microbial contamination of the oral cavity, which is not characteristic of microorganisms for it. The higher effectiveness of treatment according to the schemes we have proposed is confirmed by clinical data, index estimates and microbiological research in the nearest and distant terms.
