Fur M. Substantiation of preventive measures for common dental diseases in boarding school children with malocclusions

The prevalence and intensity of caries of temporary and permanent teeth and periodontal diseases in children was determined on the basis of clinical examination 528 children 7,9,12,15 years old from boarding schools. The prevalence and structure malocclusions in children from boarding schools was analyzed, the index DAI was used to determine the severity of malocclusions and their need for treatment in these children. It was revealed that there is a correlation between malocclusions and dental caries and periodontal disease in children of boarding schools, between malocclusions and height, body weight and somatic pathology taking into account the nature of the malocclusions. It was established that there is a direct correlation between mean malocclusions and diseases of the musculoskeletal system and respiratory system in the examined children.A differentiated complex of primary caries prevention was developed taking into account the risk of its occurrence and periodontal diseases in children with malocclusions from boarding schools and its efficiency was analyzed.
