The thesis researches into the means of multimodality presentation in the creolized English newspaper discourse of Australia. The differential features of the modern newspaper discourse include the commercialization of mass-media information, a predominance of the entertaining materials over the factual ones, the main part of which are various advertisements and texts, as well as a strong tendency to language economy and visualization of information. The main means of presenting multimodality in the Australian newspaper discourse are verbal and non-verbal means.
